we had a great break over the christmas period. the owner had thoughtfully put a couple of christmas trees up and also left us a welcome pack which was very muchg appreciated. easy parking, close to the town and castle and a short drive to various beaches

Great cottage with great facilities, including two wood burning stoves. Perfect for a family get together. Well kitted our for all ages. Ideal location if you enjoy walks on the beach!

Pembroke itself was a great location to explore the area - everything seemed no more than 20 minutes away! Village itself very close and had good amenities (great Cake Shop and Deli!). The cottage was spacious and ideal for 7 adults and one child. Made full use of the kayak and bodyboards in the shed which was a nice touch. The kitchen/diner was a great social space. Parking was easy. Our only negatives would be one of the double beds needs a new mattress and the games room is damp.

Great location for Pembroke, the beaches and wonderful woodland walks. A few areas need attention-no batteries in upstairs smoke alarms, toilet seat in main bedroom needs renewing, kitchen drawers need a complete overhaul, mattress in front bedroom needs renewing. Having said that we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the space the house had to offer.

Great house and perfect size for our group of 6 adults and two small children. Everything there that we needed. Only disappointment were the eateries in the area. Would go back again as loads more to explore. ( One party member allergic to animal hair and as it's a dog friendly house this was a bit of an issue ) All in all great weekend.

Excellent house, lots of equipment for families to enjoy e.g. Inflatable canoe, short walk into Pembroke, lots of beaches a short drive away. Clean, quiet, spacious. Would definitely visit again.

We loved The Appletree, it is very spacious and homely, the sort of place you love coming back to after a stomp across the beach, we put the wood burners on in the large kitchen diner and it was so cozy. There is a washing machine and tumble drier which was a nice surprise as it didn't list that on the cottage info, essential for large family holiday! Lovely view of castle from street and a quick walk (down Awkward Hill, bit steep) into Pembroke, not a very inspiring town but has essential Co-op and cafes. Cottage has handy games room (snooker, table football, Wii, loads of board games) plus extras like knitting corner and loads of great books! We would definitely recommend for family holiday.
