We had a good holiday, but other reviews have previously highlighted some concerns about the property and our experience bears these out.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Beautiful surroundings & a great place to travel around Cornwall from. Made to feel very welcome. Above & beyond the call of duty, the owner found us a pair of large wellies when needed & posted a pair boots we left behind! Highly recommended.

After erroneously approaching Hendra Springs, we found the very clear sign for Hendra. The cottage was beautifully prepared, including a tray set with tea, milk, and Cornish biscuits. We found everything we needed, although the sitting-room lights were a bit weak for avid evening readers. We were encouraged to sit in the garden, with its beautiful views. There is a file full of useful information; a helpful addition would be a 'bus timetable. Alex made us very welcome, and put us completely at ease. Driving in the narrow lanes is a challenge - we found the approach from St.Stephen much easier to cope with. I imagine for four adults the space could be presssured, but for a couple or family, splendid.
