Had an enjoyable time with friends and visited Monkey World and did a couple of walks, one being along the River Piddle and the other to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Dor. The cottage was very comfortable and central in the town.

The review is based on our second stay in Tennay Cottage and how we as a family view the cottage. If our sons enter the same running event in 2018 this will be our first port of call without any hesitation. The cottage is really well equipped, everything you'd need. Lots of fresh towels, bed linen and loo rolls, happy days. Wareham Main Street is literally just around the corner. Lovely coffee shops, my sons tell me the full English breakfast (needed the day after running 45 miles) is good in all of the cafés they've sampled. The Red Lion Pub does decent food reasonably priced with friendly staff. Another lovely surprise was the welcome pack. Everything you could possibly need to start a holiday including a bottle of wine in the fridge 😊. Unfortunately we hadn't time to drink the wine (this time). From our point of view the only down side is the Conservative Club next door. They aren't always considerate of the neighbours. Would most certainly recommend.

It's a wonderful cottage, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The only downside is the awkward location and confused parking.

The cottage was ideal for a short break. Very well maintained overall and nice touches such as the welcome pack and flowers. It was well equipped and a 'home from home'. We would definitely stay there again.

The cottage was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The welcome pack was the best we had ever had. Wareham had everything we needed and the location of the cottage meant that it was all on our doorstep. Other holiday lets could learn from the owners of Tennay Cottage. We will be recommending to our friends. The only downside was the parking, nothing the owners can do about that. It was down to some inconsiderate people parking across the gate so not always able to get in to park the car. This is the first time we have rated 10 out of 10, 9 has been our highest score previously.

A cosy well-equipped cottage in the middle of Wareham. It's close to all the shops and restaurants. The welcome pack was very welcome! We had a wonderful time!

Lovely cottage to stay in for the week. Had everything we needed. The welcome pack - wine, milk, flowers were a great bonus. Very clean and tidy. The only downside was the noise on a Friday and Saturday evening from the local club behind, went into the early hours of the morning. Overall would recommend and stay again!

We love Wareham and this property was immaculate, well stocked, comfortable and with direct access to the Main Street. The town is chock-full of great places to eat and drink, interesting shops and has its own market on a Thursday. You can go for a boat ride on The Frome down at The Quay, visit the vintage cinema The Rex or the fascinating Town Museum or hop on the bus which runs through the town from Swanage to Poole. There is plenty to do within even a short distance, Monkeyworld, Bovington Tank Museum, the Blue Pool, Corfe Castle, Arne Nature Reserve, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door for example. There is a designated parking spot and the neighbours were very pleasant. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again.
