Lovely cottage in a beautiful quiet location. Only a few minor shortcomings; there was only 1 small vegetable knife, and lack of outside space for drying laundry. The over-bath shower is a mixer tap and doesn’t keep a constant temperature, but the shower room downstairs makes up for that. The DVD player wouldn't play any of our DVDs, but we used our laptop, so not a problem. Personally, in the end double bedroom, I would've put the double bed on the opposite wall so when you open the curtains you can see across to the hills from the bed instead of looking out onto the tree but really none of these points detracted from our enjoyment in any way. Every road to the cottage is single track road with passing places, and some parts are "blind" where you can't see if anything is approaching but the roads are quiet enough that other vehicles were rarely encountered. Lovely to see the animals (cows and sheep) being moved up the lane/into the yard behind the cottage. The "welcome pack" of little touches like milk, welsh cakes, cookies and the little things like tea, coffee, salt/pepper etc were very welcome indeed after a long journey, and very much appreciated. Didn't want to go home.

We enjoyed our stay certainly quite a distance from the village, but surrounded by beauty and peace. There were only three of us (we all wanted our own room) but plenty of room when sleeping seven.
