I loved it 100%.It was warm, cosy and well-equipped and in easy reach of shops and places of interest. Audrey was on hand and checked we had everything we needed but was never obtrusive. We visited Big Pit and Abergavenny and walked along the canal. It was a lovely taster and we plan to return.

Ideal place for us to stay and close to local amenities. Good communications to nearby towns and villages. Cottage could best be described as cosy - not a great deal of room but quite sufficient for a week's stay. Despite having her own problems whilst we were there, Audrey put herself out to make sure that we were comfortable and recommended places to visit.

The cottage is a quiet and private annexe to the owner's home, with its own secluded and pretty garden to sit in. We were very comfortable there. There was a useful small supermarket about a 20 minute walk away, and a nice canal walk about the same distance, but very little else in the village, so we had to use the car to get anywhere. However, one doesn't have to drive far to reach beautiful scenery, nice little towns, and interesting activities.

Our third stay at this cottage . Always a warm welcome from the owner with tea milk sugar and cake on arrival. Road works are a problem at the moment but once finished will make travelling ideal on dual carriage ways. We hope to go back next year
