Relax on the balcony at this magnificent house in a peaceful elevated position, yet with plenty to see and do nearby.

Standing in an elevated position, high above Craobh Haven Marina, with splendid views across the Sound of Jura and towards Mull, Taigh Nam Broc is a stunning contemporary holiday home. Tucked away near the end of a track this spacious and magnificent house offers peace and tranquillity. Craobh Haven offers a chandlery, a very good bar and restaurant and some of the best marina facilities in the country. From the doorstep there are plenty of walks, cycling and a riding stables. A sailing school and boat trips to see the wildlife and Corryvrecken, the world’s 3rd largest whirlpool, operate from the marina. Golf, fishing and hill walking can also be found close by. Nearby is Arduaine National Trust Gardens and a short drive away in Ardern is a village store, pub and seafood cafe. In the surrounding area, Kilmartin Glen is steeped in history and rich in archaeological and historical remains. Oban offers a more extensive range of services, with good shopping, a leisure centre, seafood restaurants and ferries to the Inner Hebrides including Mull, Iona, Staffa and Tiree. A day and night telescope adds a thrill to star gazing and wildlife-watching highlights include sea eagles, golden eagles and puffins, while otters, seals and deer can be seen along the shore. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, rugged glens and sea lochs, this is truly an ideal base for touring the west coast of Scotland, or just relax on the balcony and take in the views.     Breathtaking views as we opened the front door, lots of space for all eight of us to mingle and relax. A great holiday.

    did not like been asked for a cheque for £200, we bought insurance for the place, and thought the £200 was wrong, we understand it was a deposit and the cheque would be destroyed

    Only things that could be improved are more than 1 TV , dryer and the heating was not on as it was not winter but it was cold in the morning and evening

    Lovely holiday home , nice to sit outside with a glass of red a watch the world go by, great views. Lots of wild life nearby , deer in the garden. Ten minute walk to pub . A very enjoyable holiday.

    Downstairs underfloor heating not efficient enough for winter and expected a tumble dryer in this standard of propery. Every othe aspect of this property was top notch.
