The access to the property was difficult. It was more suited to 4 x 4. It didn't say it was a working farm. No lawned area for the children to play safely. There was a really steep banking down to a stream. Not securely fenced. The bedrooms were ok except we had a bed collapse on one of the children's. It was a rather old frame bed. In the lounge there was only enough seats for 5 adults. Children had to sit on the floor. Don't think the description of the cottage gives a true picture.

Thank you to Sue & hubby for a wonderful weekend in this little gem of a cottage. We had a wonderful time celebrating our mum's 60th. The cottage was the perfect size and layout for our 7 adults, & 2 teens, party (plus two dogs). We were delighted with the location, rural and beautiful but still close to the local village and Abergele was a 10minute drive. All of the rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and spacious. I loved that the beds had proper quilts and pillows (not the scratchy starchy ones you get in a hotel). The kitchen is well beyond the normal expectation for a self catering cottage. Fully equipped and spotless. We did enjoy two cosy nights by the inglenook fireplace which was fully stock with logs & kindling. 10/10 for this absolute gem tucked away in the Welsh hills!

Our holiday started with the need to call Sue the owner to help with an emergency, she was fantastic and continued to be throughout our stay. The house is amazing and it's rural location is perfect, you'd not think you were less than ten minutes drive from Abergele. The cottage is ridiculously well equipped, warm and comfortable. Love the big fireplace. We can't wait to go back.

Loved the cottage it was beautiful, would definately reccomend it. It's old charm was just what I was looking for. Excellently stocked with everything u need and sue (owner) very helpful. The cattle grid could do with replacing the road down to cottage was steep but after using it a couple of times it was fine. My only negative, I thought the cottage was stood on its own, I don't mind neighbours at all as they were lovely but they had dogs that barked a lot. Which in turn wound my dogs up so it wasn't as peaceful as I would have liked. Also although the garden is fenced in there was a little dog that came in and out as it fitted through fence easily, a little old snappy girl so had to watch my dogs. Rooms look quite a bit larger in the photos but it's very snug. Beautiful views and lovely days out.
