Loved the cottage it was beautiful, would definately reccomend it. It's old charm was just what I was looking for. Excellently stocked with everything u need and sue (owner) very helpful. The cattle grid could do with replacing the road down to cottage was steep but after using it a couple of times it was fine. My only negative, I thought the cottage was stood on its own, I don't mind neighbours at all as they were lovely but they had dogs that barked a lot. Which in turn wound my dogs up so it wasn't as peaceful as I would have liked. Also although the garden is fenced in there was a little dog that came in and out as it fitted through fence easily, a little old snappy girl so had to watch my dogs. Rooms look quite a bit larger in the photos but it's very snug. Beautiful views and lovely days out.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped. Lots of welcome goodies that were a lovely surprise. Owner really helpful and kept in touch for the duration of our stay. The only draw back was the steep gravel track down to the cottage. This caused some anxiety for some of the party.

The cottage is located in a remote part of North Wales, no phone signal, down a farm track, and surrounded by a working sheep farm. This is exactly what we wanted. The owner is very helpful, making sure we were OK on arrival, a lovely welcome pack of supplies, and called during week to make sure all was well. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable, nice open fire and lots of bedrooms. We were a party of 6, (4 adults and 2 young children) and it was fine for us, many more than that and living space would start to get a little cramped perhaps. There are a couple of other cottages on the plot that are permanently lived in, neighbours were friendly although we hardly saw them. If you want to get away from it all for a week, burn some coal, turn off your phone, take in the views and talk to the sheep, do it. OK, the track is a bit bobbly, but why spend all your life driving down wide roads full of traffic?

Gorgeous place with a friendly and helpful owner. Walks from the door were lovely and the whole place was comfortable and well-equipped. Previous reviewers have made a great deal of the farm track that is used to access the cottage, but we found it to be similar to others we've stayed in and perfectly passable in both sports cars and family hatchbacks - visiting a rural cottage this is part of the charm, surely? The only things that could be improved would be to fix the internet and install a larger dishwasher - with 9 people we had to run it multiple times a day. However, tablets were supplied so it was no real hardship to do so!

we found the so called road to the cottage extremley unsafe unless you have a 4x4 although the area was peaceful we found that we had to come back before dark as you could not find the entrance to the farm it took us and hour and a half to find the entrance once it was dark the cottage itself was okay it was maily the farm track to the cottage that caused us problems also from the photo it looks like your the only cottage their but to your left there are two more cottages next to you.the garden is not exactly safe as near the end is a big hill which could be dangerous to younger children if i was going to book this holiday i would like to see the track improved as half way down there is a huge drop on the left also you will need new tyres after spending two weeks there we have a new 2015 car that we had four weeks before the holiday my husband would not go out unless we were going out for the day as he said it was not safe the track so we had to go out every day and stay out all day also my grandaughter needed an ambulance and they couldnt find us they also said they would not have been able to get to us hope this help you make a descision on your holiday
