As this is a barn conversion, it's a bungalow, which may not be to everyone's taste (and usually isn't to mine, as evening noise can disturb the kids), however the bedrooms (especially the non-master bedroom) are far enough away from the lounge area to not be a major concern. Fixtures and fittings are of a high quality, and there is ample cutlery, crockery etc. Plus plenty of pots and pans if you fancy a bit of cooking. The garden area is a good size - plenty of room for the kids to run around. My only real 'complaint' is that the kitchen is possibly TOO big! It's quite a distance from the cooker to the sink, for example, and from the fridge to the dining table. But no great hardship. Location is good. You can get to New Quay (for dolphin spotting trips, not the one in Cornwall!) in an hour - call before you leave, tho, as the sea can be rough at times and then they run a reduced service, which may also make you feel sick! A number of good beaches are a short drive away. Plus places like Fishguard (for the ferry to Rosslare) are just a short hop. 2 small breweries are also near - Mantle in Cardigan, and Bluestone Brewing about a mile away down a country track. Both are worth a visit and will happily sell you a case of 12 of their beers for 25 quid or so. One suggestion I have (and maybe it's already possible and I couldn't figure it out?!), but some blinds on the roof windows would not have gone a miss. In the summer it's obviously light until 10pm, and with no way of blocking out the light, this certainly helped keep the kids awake a bit longer than I would've liked! All in all, a great property and a good spot for exploring Pembrokeshire from.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped property. Whilst the owners respected our privacy they were friendly and approachable.

Beautiful cottage and very spacious, comfortable and clean. Large enclosed garden was great for our 2 small dogs. Great location too, few minutes from pubs and shops and a short drive from large, dog friendly beach. Highly recommended.

We had a short stay at Sychpant Barn and have no complaints. The barn it's self is amazing and we are already planning to return with some friends. The photos do not do this accomadation justice. The location is a a 5/10minute drive from the beach and on foot all the surrounding areas have lovely walks. The local pubs do great food and everyone was very friendly without being intrusive. My husband was won over as soon as he saw the cakea on the kitchen side!!
