Better than the photos, it was more than we hoped for. Recent, stylish renovations with a seaside theme, give all the clean and comfortable rooms a fresh and delightful look. Well-equipped and well-organised with everything you need (including instructions) and a folder of suggestions for walks and things to do. We were just two adults so we spread ourselves out but it is a family home so a family of 4 plus dog would be fine. The well-tended property is found in a magical, peaceful setting with lawns and trees all around it. The friendly, local house-keeper is there for you but not in your face. An excellent base for touring the area plus the Eden Project and Heligan.

We had a lovely holiday at Sweets Close, we found it well equipped, clean and very cosy. The gardens were beautiful and so was the location and surrounding area. Good for the soul.

This lovely bungalow is extremely well equipped with lots of handy extras provided such as hand soap, washing up liquid etc. Even shoe polish & sewing kit in the cupboard. Very clean & tidy and well furnished, with a homely feel & in peaceful surroundings. Needed the fire lit on a few chilly April evenings. Lovely walks & good pub nearby.

we enjoyed our few days at Sweets, unfortunately we had to come home a few days early as my husband was not very well. The cottage is well maintained and in a lovely location with a very good pub just down the road.Carol the lady who met us and introduced us to the cottage was a lovely lady and very welcoming.

We were the first people to stay at Sweet's Cottage this year. It is a very well appointed cottage with quality matching furnishings throughout. It was warm and the caretakers were most helpful. The only draw back is road access. The lane leading to the cottage is narrow with parked residents cars. The right angle turn into the drive could be improved by the removal of a large rock on the corner.
