We found this property very comfortable and very handy for Broadway and as a base for the rest of the area. The kitchen was overall very well equipped (although missing a couple of obvious things like a tea strainer and cheese grater) and the property had great bathrooms, especially the loft master suite. Decor wise there were too many cheap knick knacks and doilies around but these were easily cleared away temporarily and then the house looked better and was a great place to relax for a last minute short break as we recovered from illness. There were only two of us so with two lounges one could read and the other watch sport with no arguments! It has plenty of space for the six people it sleeps. i would certainly recommend it. We stayed in March and the off season price is very good value compared to a hotel room even for only two people.

We re a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children aged 15, 13 and 8). Swallows Rest is a great cottage, with a very homely feel. It has all of the things needed to enjoy your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with lots of added extras. Ideal family friendly cottage with enough space to not get under each others feet. The kitchen is well equipped, with all the things needed to prepare a good meal. The bedrooms are great, vintage chic, lots of hanging space in wardrobes and the hangers to go with it, which is quite often a shortfall in some of the cottages we've stayed in before. The bathrooms were clean, and the ensuite bathroom in the loft was great. The bath was easy to fill with excellent water pressure. The location of the property was ideal, the village of broadway was approx 5 minutes away with lots of little shops to peruse. We visited evesham, cheltenham, warwick, warwick castle, Birmingham Bullring, Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare's Birthplace, British Motor Museum and much more. Bourton on the water was a fantastic village with an abundance of tea rooms and lots to do, would recommend a visit there. Would definitely return to Swallows Rest, as i'm unable to find fault.

We were very pleased with the cottage. We booked it to meet up with family and there was ample space for 4 adults and 2 children. The children enjoyed having their own room and we played in the lovely garden quite a lot. Well located for local attractions of which the model village at Bourton on the Water was the favourite. There were some lovely touches such as biscuits and tea / coffee when we arrived. Very thoughtful. A few minor issues with equipment but nothing that can't easily be sorted.

A lovely cottage with all the required facilities and local information. Nice walks straight from the door. We couldn't have asked for more.

This was a lovely cottage for a 3 generation holiday with plenty of space for everyone to have time to themselves and plenty of TVs to avoid arguments. The cottage is just like the photos and has a lovely garden and lovely views. The owners have put a lot of thought into providing everything you need for a successful family break and the facilites were new, very clean and very well maintained. It was a good location from which to explore the Cotswolds and the owners have provided plenty of local guide books and tourist information. There is parking to the rear for 2 cars which was really useful, but my only criticism would be that this was not the easiest of places to reverse out of and the partially uneven surface could be difficult for some people. But even saying that I would definitely try to book this cottage the next time I go to the Cotswolds.
