Cottage is small but lovely and warm and comfortable. The owner left milk in the fridge as well as scones, jam and clotted cream for our arrival which was fantastic. Everything required was there. The location is rather too remote from a lot of things but peaceful. A couple of the window locks don't work and there are lots of cobwebs to be cleaned. I had to clear rather a large one, along with the resident spider, out of the wardrobe! The only real negative point was that my partner and I were there for rest and relaxation and no disturbances. We therefore were not happy when having an afternoon nap and the owner knocked on the front door to ask if everything was okay. It was until our sleep was ruined :-(

Beautiful quiet spot, the cottage was spotless, everything was there that you needed. Nothing better than waking up to birdsong and absolutely nothing else. Fabulous.

Lovely cottage, very comfy and cosy. We came across quite a few rather large spiders, but that's par for the course in the countryside!

A lovely little hideaway made for 2. The Jacuzzi bath was so relaxing after a day sightseeing. The bed and bed linen was so comfortable, had the best nights sleep I have ever had on holiday. Lots of little thoughtful items left by the owners. TV in the bedroom was lovely. MY only ever so slight criticism was that in the garden some comfortable garden loungers would have been nice rather than the picnic bench (they had them next door at Stoats barn) we are used to Cornish country lanes so driving didn't bother us, but was a fair way to get to any of the coasts. The 3 horses in the field next day were so friendly and always came out to see us. A great holiday, in a lovely romantic cottage...no wi fi not much of a phone signal so great as a get away from it all
