relaxing location and peaceful, with a great hot tub. Little else local other than one pub and had to drive into Carmarthen for amenities to suit. Good place for a walking weekend, but little else going on for our needs. Owners are friendly and welcoming, I would not personally stay here again but not because of negative reasons, just my own preferences.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your review, I am sorry you did not find the 4 pubs and 2 restaurants in our area, but we have The Sticks and The Castle pubs both in the village along with The Farmers Arms serving Thai food 1 mile away. The Mansion House and Pantyrathro restaurants are very close by. There is a list in the welcome book and I will make sure it is up to date.

Stayed as a couple. Owners were fantastic and some parts of the stay were inspired - the 'games room' which we made into a 'pub' by taking a few drinks over there while we played pool, darts and table tennis, the welcome present from the ladies was greatly appreciated (and tasty). Kitchen was well-equipped, pleasingly it was not one of these venues which had one of everything for each occupant (e.g only four plates, cups, saucers etc) it appears to have been furnished from the point of view of the guest, not the host. Hot tub was only accessible by going around the cottage (walk about 30 yards), the only real problem we had was that we thought the beds were uncomfortable. Wi-fi worked well, no mobile signals (:-)))))))))) . The village was only really accessible by car but still plenty of opportunity for walks along the beach when we got there.

Fantastic cottage!! Lots of space. Loved the hot tub and land. The gardens were so tranquil. Friendly owners. Brilliant games room and alsorts to do in the evening!! Great for our dog, he loved the freedom. Double bed a bit too lumpy but that was our only gripe. Thank you
