A beautifully maintained holiday home in wonderful, peaceful setting. Owners are friendly and so helpful. The only thing to be aware of is the small bedrooms and this is made clear to you at the very outset so we didn't feel mislead.

This was a fantastic holiday house for a weekend break. Cynthia and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. We were given a delicious welcome pack of cakes, eggs and apple juice. Our children loved exploring on the grounds, stroking the goats, swinging on the tyre swing and visiting the chickens. Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic! Exceeded our expectations. Rooms were a little tiny but the lounge with the heater was absolutely brilliant and waking up to the sheep and horses outside was serene. Warm and toasty all the way through.

This barn is in a fantastic location with walks from the door and great countryside views. Although the owners were away when we visited we still received a warm welcome from their house-sitter, Sherry. The welcome pack was a lovely touch too. The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting the friendly goats and watching the various wildlife in the fields.

The cottage was very clean and tastefully decorated, with a lovely welcome pack. The location was beautiful and very peaceful and the owners were extremely helpful. It was great to be able to go for lovely walks right from the front door and enjoy the friendly goats and ponies in the owners field. We would definitely stay at Swallow's Barn again. The only reason we don't give it all 10s is because the bedrooms are very small. Although this didn't really bother us it may bother other people who are after a large bedroom.
