Lovely location however, no logs on first night and given that it was 2 degrees this was very bad a main reason for choosing this cottage was the open fire, after a long drive we arrived late and not one tea bag or any coffee was provided literally it was bare. Woke up the following day and the shower was broken, there was no bath as advertised in the pictures which was one reason we booked it. Shower is also fixed in position and is very low I am 5 ft 11 and had to duck, very disapointing. Also we are not elderly but no salt was put down on the drive so it was covered in ice, anyone elderly would be at risk of falling and had we wanted my parents to come along it would have been unsafe. A shame really as the cottage itself was nice and in a lovely location but the owners gave little thought to detail and safety of the guests. Would not recommend.
