Sea Views

These attractive converted farm buildings have been finished to a very good standard of holiday accommodation and surrounded by green fields and only minutes from Perranporth. Perranporth on the dramatic North Cornwall Coast, has a stunning 3 miles of golden sand, backed by dunes and rolling fields. Right on the sand is a superb beach bar and restaurant with live music, good food and local ales. The coastal town is very family friendly with many surf, gift and local shops that line the high street that leads down to the beach. Surfing and surf hire can be found locally as well as a local golf course and horse riding which are both only minutes from Pencrennow. West of Perranporth is the coastal village of St. Agnes, and the quaint village of Crantock is to the east, both a must for the craft shops, stunning beaches and cliff walks. The surfing town of Newquay with its seven beaches is just minutes away with its many attractions which include a zoo, a sea life centre, Creally Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, leisure centre, golf course, pitch and putt course, parks and gardens. Newquay has many restaurants, cafés and shops as well as the beaches and dramatic cliff top walks. With its beaches comes surf and surf schools so you can try your hand at this exhilarating sport. Truro, the capital of Cornwall, is easily reached and is a must to explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the restaurants, shopping, museum, cinema and theatre for an alternative day or evening out. Padstow, home to Rick Steins food empire is a must visit for all the family. Wander around the narrow streets that all lead to the working harbour and enjoy the ambience provided by this traditional working fishing village. This stretch of coastline is dotted with quiet beaches, secluded coves and has a rich history of smuggling. There are many National Trust houses and gardens, such as Trerice Manor, Lanhydrock House, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, all within easy reach of these lovely holiday cottages. Second time we have stayed just a perfect location friendly staff. Just a very noisy owl having a chat kept us awake one night which was also appreciated.

A beautifully looked after cottage, located in a very quiet country lane, a stones throw from Perranporth town, owned by very helpful people. The cottage had everything we needed for a weeks break for family of four and one car. Downstairs open plan area gave the feeling of plenty of space, with a toilet and separate hallway cloak room area. Upstairs had two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom had plenty of storage space and a double bed that was very comfortable, the same could be said for the second bedroom with two singles, the bathroom was a good size with a decent shower supplying plenty of hot water. The laundrette is separate to the house, we attempted to use the machine and dryer for beach towels, but at £1 for half hour we gave up in the end! Highly recommended :-)

Excellent holiday. A very relaxing week although a welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs, butteron arrival would have been a great gesture given the long journey taken by most guests.

Generally ok but it's the little touches that were missing. Dirty living room carpet, dirty windows, sticky extractor fan, dirty wine glasses to name but a few. The location is good with a nice view and a 10 minute walk to town. Washer and dryer take pound coins. If you want a regular 40 degree wash it will cost you £3 to wash and prob the same to get it dry again.

A beautiful cottage in a very peaceful location with local amenities less than a mile away. Could not fault the cottage, a true little gem. I've already booked two further stays later this year.
