Lovely warm welcome from the owners. Could not fault the Cottage, or the location. Cottage was home from home and well-equipped and comfy.

Only thing that didn't perform was the WIFI apart from that the cottage was great.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I am so happy this customer liked the cottage; we are in a rural area as advertised. However, was disappointed with the comment on Wi-Fi that could have been easily rectified. We should not have a problem with Wi-Fi however at times, especially when really wet or really hot, we occasionally do As a rule of thumb, if I am made aware of an issue, once I have re-booted it usually sorts itself out. If an Owner isn’t aware of any problems, we are unable to sort them out. The router had to be and has now been replaced, so it is working perfectly. As advertised we are a rural setting, less than a mile from Chapel-St-Leonards village, which boasts some very good restaurants and public houses. Open all year and less than a mile away, are exceptionally good Italian, Indian, Chinese restaurants and takeaways, not forgetting our traditional fish and chip shops, which can be seasonal. The beach is less than a mile, which boasts blue flag beaches. I was very disappointed with this customers rating of amenities. Chapel St Leonards is a village; it has two small supermarkets, numerous pubs, and 1 being 10 minutes’ walk from Mill Farm open all year. Swimming pools are available in Skegness and seasonally in Chapel St Leonards. Ten pin bowling at Ingoldmells and Skegness, Penny arcades are open all year in Skegness, you will even find some open in Chapel village for your children to enjoy, even grown-ups! Fair ground attractions are seasonal only. If you aren’t looking for slot machines, you only have to go 20 minutes into the Wolds to find beautiful landscapes of Lincolnshire. Plenty of walks within the area and lots of nature reserves within a 30 minute drive. Skegness area is a marvellous place for couples and families any time of year. I have many, many people who come back to us annually who wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The cottage was spacious and lovely. Wonderful greeting including beautiful buns. I'm am been really picky but would have been useful if we have a dishcloth and handwash as had to go out to buy these. My little boy loved feeding the donkeys and seeing the chickens!!
