The cottage and location is gorgeous. The only thing to let it down was the log burner. I don’t know if we didn’t have very good wood but the burner didn’t give out much heat. Door curtains on the front and back would be a good idea as well as they were very drafts. Apart from that, the cottage has everything you require. We would definitely come again but when the weather is a bit warmer

The 2 of us had a great week in the cottage. No garden for dog but plenty of walks nearby. The hills are killer to walk back to the car and trying to navigate the car through the village is a stressful event. If you plan on using your car often this may not be the cottage for you.

Best cottage in best location. When we left we left my sons phone. I txt the owners they responded immediately, asked the cleaners to pop down and find it and are currently posting it back to me. Now that is customer service. Would recommend this cottage and these lovely people to anyone, Katherine x

A great holiday home in a lovely place...very quiet and homely. Staithes however is not great on amenities as no local store or baker as it's a drive away. The butchers is awful...useless service and rude women...so I suggest you don't use it.

Sunny cottage was warm, comfortable place to stay for our family of 3 and dog friendly. Love the decor and has all the amenities needed. Beds comfortable. Lovely big bath. Would have liked to have had Wi-fi code as the cottage did appear to have Wi-fi but no code provided (teenage daughter was put out!) View from bedroom to coast was nice. Easy walk down to beach and local pub. Recommend that car drops off at bottom of church lane as it is tight to turn around at the top of the lane. Have stayed in another cottage before in Staithes and would recommend this as superior in comparison and good value for money.
