Description

Relax in your very own hot tub whilst enjoying your own secluded garden, or explore the local area and the Pembrokeshire coast.

Peacefully set within the outstanding natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire National Park, and just a few hundred yards from a sandy beach, these exquisite cottages provide a lovely romantic retreat. Exceptional in their decor and furnishings, boasting woodburners and a charming blend of contemporary furniture and antiques, they benefit from the attention to detail shown by the caring owners. Outside, imaginative landscaping ensures each cottage enjoys its own pretty and secluded garden, a relaxing hot tub and fine views over the surrounding countryside. The delightful seaside village of Amroth, 0.25 miles, offers a local shop, pub and restaurant, and just a short drive away lies the attractive seaside town of Tenby. Here, as well as a good selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops, and seasonal boat trips to Caldey Island, visitors will find castle remains, 14th century town walls, and some charming Georgian and Regency buildings. Summerhill Cottages are also ideally located for walking enthusiasts and nature lovers – National Trust woodlands and gardens are close by as is the Pembrokeshire Coast Path – whilst manmade attractions such as a chocolate farm and the Folly Farm and Oakwood theme parks are popular with families. Golf and horse riding are available locally.

A nice cottage in a lovely location. The personal welcome from the owner was a nice touch. The cottage is in need of a bit of TLC in a few places with paint flaking off the walls particularly above radiators and the upstairs sink. It is in effect a semi as it's joined to the Farmhouse and there were children next door at the beginning and end of our stay who, whilst not unruly, could very clearly be heard through the walls but we really enjoyed our stay at Summerhill Cottage.

A lovely cottage which is warm comfortable and cosy. It is a ten minute walk from the the nearest beach down quite a steep hill. The hot tub is a great addition and very welcome after walking up that hill. The welcome from the owner is a nice touch which is reassuring and friendly. Would definitely stay here again for a quiet weekend away.

Beautiful cottage in lovely quiet location, did not walk into Amroth due to steep hill down into the village, but there is ample parking in the village. Hot tub was a lovely addition that we used every day, after long walks in the beautiful countryside. Everything we could wish for was provided in the cottage.
