Well located, charming property with an amazing history in wonderful grounds. The hot tub is a lovely bonus and the warm welcome we received and the homemade bread started our break off so well. We felt like Lord and Lady of the manor as we sat in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful sunken garden. The village of St Asaph is only a couple of miles away with pubs, a couple of restaurants and cafes and a lovely riverside walk. We were only an hour from the beautiful island of Anglesey and 30 minutes from Llandudno and Rhos-on-Sea. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to be close enough to places of interest but wanting a little peace and quiet when you return home.

Place was gorgeous but furniture old and sofa needed replaced. Shower room was very dusty and toilet and sink greasy needing a good clean before we could use them. Double bed mattress has a dent which makes sleeping a little uncomfortable. Single mattresses were thin. Water dripped in at bathroom door when it rained. Could do with decent iron and ironing board. The slugs came indoors through a couple of holes in the door skirting, but then it is the countryside! Tiny tv The owners were fabulous! Very friendly and home made bread and Welsh butter with free-range eggs were a most welcome addition!
