Summer Breeze is a delightful detached chalet with a swimming pool, ideal to relax in after a day out in the New Forest.

With a beautiful outlook over the outdoor swimming pool (which guests have sole use of), sun terrace and woodland garden, this delightful detached chalet offers a compact base for couples. With a tastefully styled interior, this studio layout is cleverly designed, with space saving kitchenette, four poster bed and seating area for two overlooking the garden. Guests also have sole use of a hot tub. Summer Breeze is set in 6 acres of woodland, with the owners living next door, and is on the edge of The New Forest. There are many places of interest in the area, including Winchester with its superb cathedral, and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard where you will find the HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Pretty sailing towns such as Hamble-le-Rice and Warsash are also within easy driving distance, with scenic riverside walks and pubs overlooking the water.
The New Forest National Park is easily accessible, and provides miles of scenic walks and a network of bridle paths and footpaths. You can often see the ponies and cattle roaming the streets in one of the many picturesque villages. The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, the New Forest Wildlife Park, and slightly further afield, Mid-Hants Steam Railway, the Queen Elizabeth Country park, Manor Farm Country Park and Exbury Gardens are just a few of the many fabulous days out in the area. We were very pleased with the warm welcome and cottage. We have recently let our own holiday home in France go... which was a static mobile home and this cottage/unit was very similar and we felt at home and very comfortable... The White Horse is the nearest pub... 15mins with The Compass Inn 30mins... walking... We plan to stay again.

Really loved it, the hot tub was lovely, the pool was cold as it was October! But still nice. Lovely grounds, lovely place. Would love to come back in the summer.

Beautiful romantic getaway with sole use of pool and hot tub to while away the evening with mood lighting to enhance relaxation. Lovely clean and bright interior with bijou kitchenette, which requires a bit of creative meal planning helped by a large supermarket a very short drive away. Really enjoyed our stay and owner was a lovely person who reflected her passion for making it a unique and attractive base for a break in the New Forest.

Very good location and a lovely cosy cottage. The swimming pool and hot tub were great to use after a long day out site seeing and walking. Marie the host, was very friendly and helpful and gave us a lovely lemon drizzle cake which was very tasty. Would definitely recommend to others and very dog friendly if you have a dog like we did. Lots of lovely walks recommend Beaulieu, butlers hard and exbury gardens are just some of the highlights.

We picked the wrong time to go as it rained 90% of the time but when you wake up and you see schools eating from the apple tree and Deer are walking past your window when you are having breakFast and also why are you are just sitting in the swimming pool I would definitely go again the hostess Leisy with a happy face and smile and if you need anything just ask and she was more than helpful would definitely go back there

We've had a lovely holiday in this wonderful place which is Summer Breeze. Marie, the owner, was very nice and she even cooked for us an amazing lemon cake....it was yummy! A deer was visiting us every morning, also we've seen squirrels, bunnies and lots of birds in the garden. The New Forest National Park is easily accessible and there are lovely views.

Whilst quite small the cottage was well-equipped (including milk, tea, coffee and water), especially with exclusive-use pool and hot-tub. Marie was very helpful and attentive, even providing a fully-equipped BBQ. In spite of being near Totton it was quiet with a decent pub a10 min walk away across the fields.

What a lovely peaceful place to stay. It was our first holiday with our dog Roya, who loved exploring the huge grounds of the property. It was amazing to have the swimming pool and hot tub to ourselves, just pure heaven . To sit on the patio watching the daily visits from the deer was a real privilege. The kitchenette was well equipped and served its purpose as we cooked Dover Sole and new potatoes with salad and Scallops another evening. There was even a barbecue laid out for us to use. Marie was very helpful in telling us of good places to walk Roya and also the nearby Dog Friendly Pub, The Compass Inn. We spent 3 days on the nearby Avon beach which was only half hour away and Roya loved it. We would definitely stay at Summer Breeze again.
