Great location. Friendly & very helpful owner next door. Good local pub restaurant just over a mile away but did not walk there as its a very busy little road. Would have been useful to have some current information in the cottage as most of it was out of date, but Gillian has only been renting out since summer 2016 so this is a learning curve. It most certainly wouldn't prevent us from booking this place again. The cottage itself was just like staying in someones home & indeed thats just what it was. It's a bit dated but had a lovely friendly feel to it. Probably needs to be de-personalised really!

Used Stublick View Cottage as a base for visiting areas of Northumberland with a view to moving to the area. Excellent, well equiped accommodation, with wonderful views over open countryside, friendly and very helpful owner. Although not close amenities these were within easy driving distance with good pub/restaurant available in a local village.
