Located within the North Norfolk coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this wonderful, detached barn conversion offers a warm and welcoming stay. Street Farm Barn sits nestled in the historic, quaint village of Aylmerton, in North Norfolk. The 17th-century flint and red brick barn once served the famous English landmark, Fellbrigg Hall. Retired from its agricultural services, the barn has been beautifully transformed to comfortably sleep six. Street Farm Barn has been fitted with luxuries such as underfloor heating, an electric induction range cooker. Boasting traditional features, including original beams, handcrafted interior walls, reclaimed doors and cast iron fixtures and fittings, the property oozes charm and character.
During your time in beautiful Aylmerton, enjoy a cycle ride through the stunning countryside; visit Cromer and Sheringham’s vast sandy beaches only 3 miles away; take a short drive to neighbouring Holt or Blakeney, to spot some of the world’s rarest birds, or simply walk to the end of the country lane and explore Fellbrigg Halls’ wildlife-filled woodland. Finish with a stroll to the popular Roman Camp Inn for a locally brewed beverage, before returning for a soak in the roll top, freestanding tub. Beach 3 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    Overall a lovely stay. Future visitors should be aware that the driveway in incredibly small & the upstairs ceilings are quite low. Mostly clean except for a few spiderwebs which had been missed. Very comfortable and nicely furnished. The lack of wifi was a real shame but not the owners fault. Would happily stay again.

    On the plus side: modern, clean and well-equipped. The gifts on arrival were a nice touch, though a pint of milk would have been useful! On the negative side: cold! The weather was poor and the underfloor heating did not warm the house up, despite following the instructions given. We ended up watching TV in the bedroom as it was too cold to sit in the sitting room.

    A very enjoyable cottage in a beautifully presented cottage. Whilst a drive away from some of Norfolks most beautiful beaches, we felt quite well located, with Cromer less than 10 minutes away and we didn't have to drive more than 40 minutes to get to any of the attractions that we wanted to visit all week. Parking is a challenge at the property, with an extremely narrow drive to access the properties main parking area. Whilst this wasn't a concern for us, if you lack confidence parking or maneuvering your car, this may not be the property for you! The low ceiling heights upstairs and the lack of a shower in any other room other than the ensuite bedroom are also a disadvantage for larger groups.
