Lovely place to stay, quiet, clean, comfortable, great views and good central location. Best self-catering accommodation we've stayed in, and would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Stratville Annexe this September. We were very lucky to have good warm weather. The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including such things as tin foil, kitchen roll, cling film, dishwasher tablets, bathroom products, sewing kit and more, as well as lovely thick towels, comfy bed and modern contemporary decoration and furnishings. The views from the windows over the fields and May Hill were stunning. The property is situated in a raised position and had its own small but charming patio area, complete with plants and fairy lights. The delightful owner Sarah, greeted us warmly on arrival and had been kind enough to leave a pint of milk and an assortment of tea and coffee to get us started, together with some lovely homemade cakes! The property is close to Gloucester, Symonds Yat and the Forest of Dean, with plenty to do and see. Ross on Wye is just a short drive away for shopping and supermarkets. The Farmers Boy pub/restaurant is just a mile and a half away and does wonderful food. Don't miss it! All in all we had a fantastic time and would definitely go back. Other members of our family are also keen to go to. Can't recommend it enough. Fabulous!

This is simply one of the best we have stayed in, the owner was very nice and friendly and left us alone to enjoy the peace and beauty of the place. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well presented, it had everything we needed. Combine this with the lovely surroundings and beautiful views from the windows, this place was just perfect for a relaxing peaceful getaway from it all break. We will definitely be going back.

This was a lovely location. We were cycling and found non-main roads close by to go some routes but a bit limited and the locals need to get up to date with how to pass cyclists. Our hosts were absolutely lovely, available and extremely helpful. It was a lovely apartment with all mod cons and we would highly recommend it.

Wonderful!! Would definitely go again! We live close to local shops so having to drive 15-20 minutes to supermarket was the only downfall. Very clean, comfy and the goats were a wonderful addition! :)

We had a lovely long weekend at Stratville Annex. A friendly welcome (including delicious homemade cakes), a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa and bedroom. Despite being by the main road we were not disturbed by any traffic at all. The cottage made a great base for exploring Herefordshire and we even hopped over the border to Wales. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

When we arrived we were shown around by the owner which was the first time anyone has done this on many occasions we have booked a cottage - nice personal touch. This set the scene the property was beautifully put together with a modern boutique feel. Warm , cosy and having all the amenities , washing machine , dishwasher etc. Its location was perfect to East to go to Gloucester or West to go to Ross on Wye and into Wales. So many places to visit but so short a time as we were only there for 6 days - shame as we would have liked to stay longer -a little gem well done to the owners
