Well presented. Very clean Location very good. Single bed mattresses not firm enough for an adult, feels like the mattress has collaped, causing back pain. Shower robe hooks required in bathroom Shower hose bracket requires changing as it does not hold shower head when only partially turn on.

Great cottage and extremely clean. Would have been nice to have welcome if tea and milk as no local shop open when we were arriving. Would recommend making an online asda shop before arriving. Beautiful countryside and great outdoor things to do. Cottage was bit warm for us but otherwise lovely.

Stonycroft was a real home from home. We could have moved in and lived in it! Lochgoilhead is a lovely, peaceful village, near the end of a single-track road (with plenty of passing places). Nearby Carrick Castle is a delightful spot and there are plenty of lovely walks should you so wish to enjoy. Plenty of wonderful places to visit within a reasonable distance makes this an ideal base for a lovely holiday. It is a shame that the local pub/hotel has such a poor range of beers. John Smiths Smooth, lager and Guinness are not what I travelled 500 miles to drink! The food is very good, but the only half-decent beer was a bottled range from the Cairngorm Brewery. However, at a rip-off price of £5.50 for a 500ml bottle, which converts to £6.24 a pint!!!) I just tried it once. It was an acceptable brew and finding it in a Waitrose in Helensburgh at £1.80 a bottle, I bought a load and drank them in the bungalow! There is a nearby holiday village with a comfortable bar, but owned by the same company, the same range of beer was on offer. I would certainly stay in Stonycroft again if it was in a different village, but although loving the area, would rather try different locations.

Travelled with my 89 year old Mother and recently retired Husband. Suitable for my Mother who has limited walking ability due to the disabled access to and around the bungalow. Lovely location and property was very clean and tidy. We had appreciated that there was limited shopping opportunities in the village so had come with provisions. We had not realised that the village could only be reached on several miles of single track road with passing places so needed more time and concentration to navigate on each outing. My Mam really enjoyed her holiday back in such a beautiful area of Scotland.
