In superb locations and beautiful settings. Cottages4you gives you a fantastic range of hand-picked properties with quality you can rely on.

Centrally located for Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester and Evesham, this beautifully present cottage is ideal for walks around the surrounding valleys.

This beautiful, detached holiday home offers characterful accommodation throughout. Situated in the thriving market town of Tewkesbury, which stands at the confluence of the River Severn and the River Avon, it enjoys abbey views from the bedrooms. Tewkesbury offers one of the best medieval townscapes in England, with its fine, half-timbered Tudor buildings, overhanging upper-storeys and ornately carved doorways. Discover the hidden charms along narrow alleyways where the eaves of crooked timber buildings nearly touch, or take a leisurely cruise along the river (seasonal opening). Tewkesbury is dominated by the 12th-century abbey, which boasts the highest Norman tower in the country. Being centrally located, the cottage offers access to the towns of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Ledbury and Evesham - all within 15 miles. The pretty Cotswold villages nearby - renowned for their attractive honey-coloured stone houses - stand as witnesses to the prosperous times of the wool trade. There is plenty of gentle walking to enjoy in the surrounding valleys, whilst the more dramatic Cotswold Way passes through Cheltenham on its way from Chipping Campden to Bath further to the south. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Ground floor: Living room with French doors. Kitchen with dining area, breakfast area and tiled floor. Separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin (6ft zip & link, can be double) with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Woodburner in living room (initial fuel included). Gas central heating, underfloor heating (in bathroom and shower room), electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi. Enclosed garden with patio and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Welcome pack. No smoking. NB: Millstream, 30 yards.

I would recommend this cottage to everyone. It's in the perfect location for the Abbey, Shops and Restaurants. There are some lovely walks by the river and the ham. The cottage is of a very high standard but still has that home from home feel. We had a really nice welcome from the owners with an excellent welcome pack.

Beautiful well equipped cottage in a great location, just across the road from Tewkesbury Abbey. Everything was top quality and beautifully kept. We stayed in November and though we were lucky with the weather did find the lounge cold with just the central heating on and needed to boost it with the electric heater provided and/ or light the fire.

A lovely cottage, tastefully and generously equipped. Thoughtful touches included a welcome tray - everything we could have needed for a first night and a lovely home baked cake as well! Appreciated the excellent coffee maker and some coffee pods (in future we will bring some more of our own pods as they are not easy to get locally). Great location for lovely walks and for popping in to town. Will definitely return.

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped (better than our house, in fact). Also very well situated in a quiet street near the river and the Abbey. Minor quibbles: a few more handtowels in the bathrooms would have been nice, as would some toothbrush mugs. Shower screen on bath was leaky. The car access through a narrow tunnel was however unsuitable for drivers with weak nerves!!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are very happy that these guests enjoyed staying at Stonemasons and we always welcome feedback. In response to the minor quibbles we have recently replaced the shower screen to cure the leak and we will be providing tooth mugs as suggested. Access to the private and secure parking in our historic town is via an arch which is like driving through a normal sized garage which opens out into a private courtyard where the car can be turned around. The cottage has parking for 2 cars. We have had large vans and 4x4 vehicles through the arch. Our visitors rarely find it a problem. Failing that there is free on road parking in Mill Street just outside and also a pay and display car park a short walk away.
