I chose this cottage for a family Christmas. It was everything we could have wished for tastefully decorated for the festive period. It is very well equipped and the owners are helpful and welcoming we liked it that much we stayed an extra night. We would recommend this cottage and would certainly book it again in the future.

Everything about this property was superb. Owners occasionally live close by but we only saw them on arrival and departure. Cottage could not have been cleaner or better equipped. No expense has been spared to make this a very comfortable 'home from home'. The small village is very quiet and peaceful but it's a 5 mile drive for shops or supermarket so come prepared. Lovely pub (with food) 50yds away.

The owners have put a lot of thought into the details of this cottage and every eventuality was catered for. The cottage was clean, well equipped, comfortable and spacious, just the place to return to after a busy day touring Lincolnshire's attractions. We would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit this part of the country.

The cottage was very clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortably furnished - one of the best we've ever stayed in. We loved the character of the older part of the cottage contrasting with the newly built part. The garden was beautiful with lots of features and colour. Reading about the history of the cottage was very interesting. The cottage provided a good base for the various National Trust places in the area, Lincoln, Grimsthorpe Castle (well worth a visit) and the RSPB reserve at Frampton Marsh.

A lovely home from home cottage in quiet village . No wonder it has a gold award, it has everything you could possibly need. Just be sure to take all your personal requirements with you or its a trip to Grantham. We only went for a long weekend, but would certainly stay longer. The Green Man pub opposite was a very cosy village pub with excellent value for money food. We went to Stamford on a Friday when the market was on. a good 50 mile round trip, but a lovely market town. In Grantham we found supermarkets, take aways, petrol station and opposite to the railway station a covered retro market that is open 7 days a week. The lady owner was very chirpy and helpful.
