This beautiful and well equipped cottage is in a fabulous location. We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday over the New Year. Upon our arrival there was home made cake and the wood burning stove lit. The owners, Pauline and Harry, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. What more can one ask for. We hope to return.

Cumbria is such a beautiful part of the country we had an amazing week. Stonefold Cottage was a very cosy home from home. Equipped fully with everything a family needs. The hosts were fabulous, welcoming, the fire was stoked and afternoon tea and cake was all laid out. We will hold very dear memories of that holiday in our hearts forever ❤️

Fantastic cottage. Very nice welcome when we arrived, even had a cake ready for afternoon tea. Quiet location, nicely out of the way from any traffic noise. The log burner is brilliant.

Very much enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious cottage, with very welcoming and friendly hosts, who provided us with delicious home bakes on arrival, and who were always on hand to help. Weather less than wonderful, but still lots to see and do. We would not hesitate to return to this beautiful cottage.

Stonefold is a beautiful large cottage with loads of outside space for children to explore. The cottage is very well equipped and was lovely and clean on arrival. Pauline and Harry were very nice and helpful owners who gave lots of information about the local amenities. The cottage is a little way from some things, most things we did were 30-60 minutes drive but the views are beautiful so we didn't mind.

We were a party of 6 adults so space mattered. We were greeted with a welcome cake and the table was laid for afternoon tea which was much appreciated. Harry and Pauline the owners were the most delightful and friendly couple and made us feel very welcome. The bedrooms were spacious, and 3 large settees in the lounge made sure we all had a comfy seat in the evening. The views from the cottage were spectacular and we will definitely be returning.

A wonderful clean equipt and welcoming cottage, On arrival there was a lovely homebaked cake and the table set for tea. Made for a very special welcome. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, very suitable for a family or large group. Really made use of the jigsaw puzzles provided on a very wet day. The views were fantastic and it was nice to be in a rural setting. Loved hearing and seeing the sheep. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best -equipped cottages we've ever stayed in, and definitely the best setting, looking down from the fell over the sand dunes to the sea and Isle of Man. Very peaceful and relaxing.

We've stayed at Stonefold a few times and always find it to be home from home. Everything we need, spotlessly clean and Pauline and Harry are really nice people, always want to make you ok.
