Location is good but I'm afraid Stillwaters needs a bit more TLC, attention...we've been to many cottages in Cornwall before but didn't feel welcome here. Outside area a mess, slippery, not clean. Didn't realise how bad the staircase was until going up! Shame because the place has lots of potential. It could do much better! On the positive side if you want a good nights sleep: its really quiet at night

Lovely location and comfortable cottage. It was clean, attractive and we loved the terrace and balcony. Plenty to do in the area. Could have been more closely managed (clearer instructions on re-cycling, alarm etc., a book for comments for example.) We enjoyed our stay and would return.

location was a fabulous lovely place however for the Cottage it wasn't very dirty and unhygienic so far to say I would not stay in that Cottage again but would stop at the location without a doubt

Great location and we enjoyed our week. I think on arrival it would be nice if you weren't greated by an unturned bin, recycling box and dusty windows. I rent cottages myself and I am a little bit more fussy around cleanliness, especially the, fridge, bin, oven, kitchen cupbaords and settees etc. I also think comfortable beds are extremely important, we slept poorly. Settee comfort also a must. It may be an idea to store the outside furniture as it is worn and rusty. Unfortunately, we were unable to watch TV, as it seemed only the DVD player worked, but there was a good selection of DVDs to watch so we were not to bothered. I ran a bath one evening (no water run that day previously), however it had run cold, and the bathroom heater not sufficient to heat bathroom. I went upstairs to the shower which was also running cold, fortunately there was plenty of heating in the cottage, so I soon warmed up. I would be cautious of the spiral staircase, care needed to be taken as the steps were very small to fit ones feet, and wooden so slippery in socks!
