The cottage itself had a homely feeling which was well equipped throughout. It's fair to say that a little tlc would help in some areas The bathroom -the grouting around the bath was well past it's best and black mould had established itself on it, also the wood panelling beside the toilet had been broken off and not replaced. Living room-the ceiling had brown water marks and flakey plaster near the fire place- it looked like the roof had been leaking at some point. Stairs- wallpaper torn and marked As I say a little tlc would go a long way. It's a lovely cottage and could be a perfect retreat for both individuals or families alike.

Lovely house with everything we needed for a comfortable stay by the Loch. It is a beautiful place and so accessible for boat trips. We loved the West Highland Way walking and seeing temperate rainforest. We shall come back to Loch Lomond and hopefully the cottage will be available again.

We've had a lovely stay at Taobh-an-Allt. Thank you for offering such a sweet and cozy cottage! A few concerns we noted: -The curtain rod in the kitchen window completely collapsed on the very first day. It appears the screws had been very loose for a while (similarly for the door latch in the master bathroom). -Some (specifically front) hob spots don't turn on or are very finicky. -The oven does not appear to light from below; only the grill can be used for cooking. -Most pots and pans are in bad condition (worn off Teflon, severely scratched, etc.) -All knives were quite dull and difficult to cut with. In spite of these concerns, we made good use of the kitchen and appreciated how well-equipped it was. I do hope to come back again some day. The location is precious and cottage very homey.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Enjoyed waking up every morning looking out onto the loch and mountain views. The cottage itself was very cosy and has everything you need to make the stay enjoyable.
