Located in the quiet unspoilt countryside that lies behind North Devon’s picturesque coastline, Stepps Farm offers good sized accommodation that is ideal for a large family or group. The detached house has been renovated but retains its charm with exposed beams and wood-burning stove in the living room. The large kitchen/breakfast area is ideal for getting everyone fed and ready for a day on some of the local beaches or exploring the surrounding countryside and attractions. There are four reception rooms to give everyone enough space to ensure a relaxing holiday. The very generous master bedroom has en-suite facilities and the other bedrooms and bathrooms are all finished to a high standard. Outside there are plenty of sitting-out areas to enjoy and the large paddock area is ideal for a game of rounders or football or to observe the local wild life, if you are quiet! The house is situated in the pretty hamlet of Middle Marwood, however there are numerous attractions within easy reach of the house including the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. At Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe, some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country can be found, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor and the South West Coast Path are located close by and on a clear day the views of the surrounding coast and countryside can be spectacular from these well known walking areas. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes, the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington and Marwood Gardens 2 miles away. Bikes can be hired locally to explore the Tarka Trail and there is good fishing available for both game and sea fishing as well as golf courses to suit all abilities. Shop 4 miles, pub 1 mile.
