Fabulous stay at Stelling. The location was ideal for exploring with beautiful surrounding harbour walks on your doorstep and nature reserves. Great transport links with train station 10-15 minute walk away. Thoroughly enjoyed and would return.

A beautiful holiday home, very well kept and comfortable. Just right for us when visiting family in Emsworth. Will be staying again soon. Very happy that it is pet free. A great location.

Towards the end of our stay noticed a smell of damp especially in the kitchen cupboard under the serving hatch window, and near the bay in the lounge. This was following some heavy downpours of rain. Thought the garden was especially nice and well managed.

Excellent for small kids. Lovely small garden, with a summer house that was very popular with our grand-children (ages 5 - 8). Good range of toys and games in the house, and plenty of books; TV with DVD / VHS (!) player (lots of VHS tapes). In a cul-de-sac, so nice and quiet, and relatively safe.

Beautiful garden, generally peaceful. Very light and spacious accommodation, well equipped. Weather was quite hot during our stay, so the bedroom in the eaves was very hot, not helped by memory foam bed top. But would have no hesitation in recommending Stelling as excellent holiday accommodation.

Lovely house, particularly enjoyed the garden with good garden furniture and a nice summerhouse. The downstairs double bedroom was v. cramped and was difficult to get to the cupboards. The lounge and dining room were v. nice and spacious, but I feel that the large settee was uncomfortable.

Our family stay at Stelling in early May was very much enjoyed. The house is like a tardis with much more room than you would imagine from the front! It was clean, comfortable, well equipped with everything you could need, and very well placed for walking into Emsworth both by footpath and by road which was preferable for our granddaughter's pushchair. Emsworth is well served with lots of places to eat and drink and an excellent Co-op for daily needs as well as chemist, bakery, butcher and fishmonger, and lots of smaller shops to explore. We had Sunday lunch in the Coal Exchange which was very good and a birthday lunch in the Blue Bell which was delicious. There are all sorts of places to explore very close and the beach at West Wittering is delightful although the road there does get extremely busy on sunny days! From the pretty village of Itchenor you can take a small pedestrian ferry boat to the other side of the harbour inlet and walk to Bosham where the Saxon church is lovely and the pub does excellent fish and chips. Chichester is an interesting and historic town to explore as well as the Roman remains at Fishbourne. Bignor Roman villa is much smaller but the mosaics are well worth visiting as is the delightful countryside around it on the South Downs - pretty villages, unspoilt valleys and woodlands with, at this time of year, lots of bluebells. All in all a super holiday spot in a great cottage which we would highly recommend.
