Beautiful cottage in a stunning area. Very welcoming owners offering everything you needed. It was a very cold weekend that we stayed so the log burner came in very useful. Definitely recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Shire house. The cottage is very welcoming and roomy throughout and our hosts made us most welcome. Nice welcome pack as well. Our only criticism was the bed, which we found somewhat firm and the bedroom was light from dawn onwards as the curtains weren't blackout lined . It was great to have a garden to the side for the dogs to play in, although this isn't enclosed, there is a main gate to the front of the property so they couldn't go far. Good walks right on the doorstep and road system around the area is good on the main roads although lots of "hole in the hedges" roads which our Sat Nav seemed to love! Would recommend Shire house.
