Another fabulous stay at Wayside. This time we were lucky enough to stay for a week. We never tire of this place. Great location for walks and lovely pubs. The cottage is so cosy and has everything you need. Certainly a lovely place for a couple and dogs too. We will be returning in less than 5 weeks and it won't come quick enough! Thank you :)

Worst cottage we have rented. An acute lack of ventilation especially in the kitchen and shower room. A generator noise keeps you awake if you open the bedroom window. Black mould around window and in sitting room. We felt poorly due to lack of ventilation and came home a day early. Owners have failed to answer my letter of complaint.

Bedroom spacious with plenty of storage and comfortable bed. Lounge clean and tidy chair needed attention as wheels kept falling off when moved. Kitchen well equipped but utensils/cookware needed replacing Bathroom clean but shower cubicle needs replacing as mould/rust around. Only downfall was couldn't have bedroom windows open due to generator noise.

We had a short stay at Stable cottage and found it very clean ,well equipped and comfortable. The location is perfect to explore the Yorkshire Coast and the North York moors areas which are both beautiful. Just one warning, mind your head on the low beams in the bedroom :)
