An ideal holiday base with is large enclosed garden, hot tub and games room with bar, there’s something for everyone.

Internally the beamed ceilings, leather furnishings and parquet flooring exude an air of elegance and comfort. After a hearty meal cooked on the traditional kitchen range, enjoy a drink at the bar in the games room, on the elevated terrace, or just relax and wind down in the hot tub. The traditional market town of Leek, known as the ‘Queen of the Moorlands’, is a well known centre for the antiques trade and sits close to the Peak District National Park. Within four miles take a ride on the Churnet Valley Steam Railway or visit Rudyard Lake for walking, sailing, fishing or canoeing. Alternatively for walking and climbing don’t miss ‘The Roaches Rocks’ on the southern uplands of the Pennines. A little further afield Biddulph Grange Gardens, Whiston Hall Golf Club and the famous Alton Towers theme park can be found. At Froghall Wharf in Stoke-on-Trent you can take a canal boat trip on the Cauldon Canal or visit the world famous Wedgewood Potteries visitors centre. Amy was lovely- really friendly. House was great and had a personality- unlike the sterile bland houses you often get. Games room and hot tub really made the house- we loved them! Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to others.

The property was very spacious and nice from the outside. It was unfortunately spoilt by the worn out interior, dirty carpets and bathroom, very old kitchen cookery. The property needs a total refurbishment to merit its 4 stars status.

Great weekend with lovely friends and the house was perfect for to celebrate one of our partys 40th birthday.

Springfields is the perfect house for getting together with friends/family, loads of space, a games room complete with bar and DJ booth, a welcoming indoor hot tub and large BBQ (although it was snowing when we visited). We managed a walk to the Roaches, past Tittesworth reservoir from the house which was around 8-9 miles. Certainly looking to return.
