Not to expected previous standard - not a patch on previous glories.

Booked this based on good reviews. However, we later looked to book extra days and noticed 2 negative reviews about cleanliness, so became concerned. If there were cleanliness issues, then they had generally been addressed, as overall very clean. Few problem areas - fridge very old and rust inside, bath didn't drain very well when taking shower, so dirt left behind in standing water. As per other guest comments, windows could do with a clean. We have been renting holiday cottages for nearly 30 years and this is the first one that didn't include a welcome pack, not even a pint of milk, which seemed a little mean, especially if you arrived late. The wi-fi was appauling and as such shouldn't be advertised as having internet access. The decor is somewhat dated, but overall, would happily stay here again, as clean, fantastic location (you can easily walk to Bouton On The Water or The Slaughters) and very spacious. We didn't get a chance to sit in the garden as the first 3 days of our week were spent at Jamie Oliver's and Alex Jame's Feastival and then Stratford Upon Avon a Warwick, which was a shame, as the surroundings were lovely.

This was our third cottages4you and the only one we would not return to. The windows were very dirty inside and out, the TV and Wifi were hopeless - there was a problem with the aerial connection and we could only receive four BBC channels, the water pressure upstairs was very poor, the washing line was rusted through and kept falling over, we had to buy our own toilet rolls, a hinge was loose on the wardrobe, one of the bedside lights had a faulty connection. The whole place was in need of some TLC. The actual accommodation was very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The position for exploring the Cotswolds was very good.
