Sunnyside features a galleried double bedroom and both properties are ideally situated to explore and enjoy the many family attractions on offer. There is superb walking, scenery and wildlife up on the nearby Mendip Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), sandy beaches at Brean and the seaside resort atmosphere at Weston-super-Mare. There is direct access to public footpaths and open fields. There are a host of places to visit within easy driving distance, including the magical Glastonbury Tor, Clarks Factory Village and Hestercombe Gardens. Properties W40908 and W40909 can be booked together for larger groups. Shop and pub with food 0.75 miles.

    I think it needs to be clearer that there may not be phone or internet access and that there may not be anyone else in the vicinity of the cottage so people can choose if they are happy with that.

    Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. The WIFI was checked the day after the guests left and all was found to be okay. Unfortunately the mobile signal is beyond our control and will depend on the provider. We did provide a local contact number if there were any problems during their stay.

    It was clean and well presented the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was well equipped for 2 with all the basics. There was however none of the little extra touches that unfortunately we have come to expect after staying in many other similar properties i.e. Welcome pack with a few teabags, coffee sachets milk etc. being able to make a cuppa before unloading the car after a long journey is very welcome indeed, a hairdryer, shaver point in the bathroom. Having said all of that we would certainly stay there again. It is a pretty and quiet spot with walks around it and a great base for visiting places in the surrounding area i.e. Weston, Burnham, Cheddar.

    Well done, Mr Todd Hope to be back soon. Found travelling on a Friday a nightmare so might have to reveiew start and finish of holiday(s).
