lodge was cosy spent loads on bird food as it is a bird watchers paradise. Our dog loved the garden with stream at the bottom. He could not make the sheep out but soon got used to them in the field next door.It was lovely to see the farmer and the sheep dog rounding them up.Farm dogs roaming loose and we spent loads on treats for them.Only drawback was the mile of road with passing places sharing with the hgv quarry lorries but that was all the fun of driving up to SITTING IN CLOVER and peace and quiet. We would love to go back whenever we could we had THREEwonderful weeks and did not want it to end. They say HASTE YE BACK and we will

We stayed at cottage 2 for four nights. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the cottage as did our dog "Alex". There is plenty to do round about, but we spent a lot of time at the cottage. The garden is enclosed and perfect if you have a pet. We would stay again.

A great cabin, a bit dusty but that didn't bother us as its a rustic retreat!

Wonderful stay in a lovely log cabin, it felt like an adventure for our young family, much better than staying in a hotel or bog standard holiday cottage.
