We loved the town and location but the bungalow was very tired and needed alot of TLC. Definitely needs a shower installing, more kitchen equipment and the hall carpet replacing. It wouldn't take much to cheer it up and if the above is addressed we would happily come again!

We picked Simkin because it was only 2 miles from our sons house, being an invalid I have difficultly getting up steps. An extra step at the back door would help for invalid people. I think a shower instead of the bath would be more convenient .

Have stayed here quite a few times as convenient location, not to far from the station and buses as do not drive. I just wish that they would fit a proper shower as I can no longer use a bath due to disabilities, shampoo spray is really not good enough for a week's daily showering. There also could be a microwave there and an ice box in the fridge.

Location excellent . Cottage a little tired looking but would not take much to improve . Could be brightened up for a very small outlay. Having said that my wife and I would stay there again as we enjoyed our week in Wareham.

Great location. We've been coming yearly for 10+ years. Only downsides are lack of microwave and shower. The oven is faulty and has been for years and takes about 3.5 hrs to cook a small chicken. We factor this in now and only cook on the hob, but I imagine that could be irritating on your first trip. Also a good idea to bring your own frying pan as theirs is very worn and a devil to wash up. The fridge with freezer compartments was replaced with a fridge only, which I think was a mistake- always handy for ice, frozen peas etc. Ideally located though. We love the location.

We enjoyed our stay, brilliant for our dogs, close to great walks, plenty of facilities in walking distance. Sim kin was rather dated, the beds and furniture not particularly comfortable, however location and the fact they allowed dogs made up for the shortfalls, also they were very flexible , and let us stay 5 nights rather than 7. I would recommend as long as your not looking for luxury , and happy to use a bath, as no shower. You need to take everything, even toilet rolls, !!!! Soap ,sheets bit like camping !!!
