We've just returned from Silverstream Cottage after our early half term break. The cottage is ideally situated for people wanting to cycle the Camel Trail or go out for walks and the beaches at Rock and Padstow are only a short drive away. The cottage was well furnished and the central heating kept us snug and warm; the bottle of wine and cornish short bread biscuits were a nice touch. The only down-side is that you have to jump in the car to go out for a meal or the local shops, there is nothing in the hamlet or close by. Would we stay again? Definitely!

We have stayed there twice now and love it. It has been I think the best accommodation in the many places we have stayed in Cornwall. Peaceful, clean, comfortable , well equipped. The holiday leaflets could do with sorting and old stuff throwing away and it would be good to have some DVD's but these are only small nit pickings in a wonderful cottage

Great cottage as we were hosting a wedding reception at the adjacent Crossing Cottage. Previous tenants left the garden like a dogs toilet, luckily we had no time to use it. Only complaint about the cottage was lack of hot water in the showers, both were ever only luke warm!

The cottage was like a home from home - beautiful furnishings, spacious accomodation and peaceful setting. Perfect location for dog walking and cycling.

Lovely idyllic cottage on the camel trail. Very good size for 6 people. We lived in the kitchen/dinner as the sun always seemed to be on this room. Only downside was that it took a while to get everywhere we wanted to go. But a small price to pay for a very reasonably priced, comfortable and clean cottage in a beautiful hamlet. Oven gloves and a couple of larger dishes in the kitchen would be helpful.

The cottage was really clean and comfortable, with lots of lovely touches. A brilliant location right on the cycle trail, so really easy for the children to get on their bikes without going on a road.

Second stay at this beautiful cottage. Lovely location for walking the camel trail. Fantastic country pub a nice walk away the "Blisland inn". The only criticism of the cottage is the tiny TV, could do with being bigger for those raining days.

We loved every bit of our stay here. The cottage is perfect for any family. And location not too far from many lovely places to visit and shop. Will definitely stay here again. :-)

A lovely cottage in a super location. Holiday only marred by a rude managing agent.
