Lovely week away after our Daughters Wedding nearby. Silverstream Cottage was a lovely bolt hole, well equipped, good showers, parking. My only negative comment would be not enough hand towels!! On the whole a lovely cosy friendly cottage, thank you for letting us use it.

Stayed in May and really enjoyed the cottage. Just stayed in September and it wasn't as good. Cottage was not as clean as before, sofa was quite soiled and had stains on. Dirty and stained spare duvet in bottom of wardrobe. Spent more time in cottage this stay and found lounge furniture very uncomfortable and bed in master bedroom. Toilet in main bathroom had a constant loud drip, lack of hand towels, no hand soap. Complimentary biscuits were out of date! A small carton of milk would be nice to have a cup of tea when you arrive. Wifi much slower than before with child safe locks applied so some sites inaccessible. Wifi so poor this time I couldn't wifi call from my mobile which you need to book restaurants. Sad it wasn't as good as our last visit - doubtful we would book it again.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner:- Dear Rachel, we're sorry that you did not find the cottage to be at quite the same high standard as that of your first stay with us. We pride ourselves on the very high number of returning guests we have and in the level of cleanliness our manager and his team provide - hence the very high ratings we receive. Please do be assured that we'll be checking on the areas you've raised and thanks for the feedback. Charlie and Kate.

Excellent cottage, location is central to north and south coast's. All rooms are spacious and well presented and comfortable. We were blessed with a heatwave last week and the rear garden is a sun trap, although not an issue for us with our dog, the garden is not fenced along one side so be aware of access. We were welcomed with a nice card, biscuits and a bottle of wine, really nice thought, thank you. I would definitely recommend the cottage, it was lovely and in a quiet location.

The cottage was a good size for a family holiday, including children, grandchildren and pets with a good sized garden. However, the lack of any mobile phone signal was inconvenient on more than one occasion. It was rather remote and while this was part of its charm, it did mean that you had to ensure that no items were missed during a shop as it wasn't easy to 'pop out' for one or two overlooked items.

Was a fantastic place. We got the wood burner going so extra cosy. The place has everything you will ever need and a great location too.

We had a wonderful few days staying at Silverstream Cottage. It was warm and spacious, and well equipped to easily cope with our 6-person party. There was more through traffic than we expected in Hellandbridge, but this didn't have a negative impact on our stay. An ideal quiet hideaway for a rural break, and with easy access to the attractions in East Cornwall, the cottage serves as a good base to go exploring. I would definitely recommend Silverstream Cottage.
