Silverlea is in a great location with a lovely back street walk into town pass fields with sheep in them and under a lovely bridge. Takes about 7/8 mins. Lovely cosy place. Kitchen is kitted out well. Great touring base!

We were very pleased with the location, layout of the house and local amenities, and enjoyed our stay in this very pleasant house. The main drawback, especially if you're travelling with children, is the lack of washing machine - or rather, lack of access to a washing machine. There is a whirligig in the garden, which suggests there may be a washing machine in the shed, but holiday guests don't have access to this. Also, make sure you bring EVERYTHING - as well as towels and dishtowels, you need to provide your own washing-up liquid, cloths, toilet roll, kitchen roll and soap for the wash-hand basins.

Met our needs perfectly. Great location, very quiet yet convenient for walking into town or as a base for driving further afield. Even had a view of the mountains from two of the windows. The house was larger than we were expecting and having two toilets is a bonus if larger numbers are staying there. If I had slight criticism it would be lack of storage space, though for a holiday it is probably sufficient and there is no washing machine, which I'd prefer to the dishwasher. Otherwise, very good value, and we might well want to book again next year.
