A hidden gem. A very cosy, comfortable cottage close to beach and Hodbarrow nature reserve so ideal for dog walking. Made to feel very welcome during our week there by everyone we met. Also there was a delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting for us on our arrival. Definitely on our list to visit again.

Although a little far away from the main areas of the Lake District, it was still a lovely quiet location, which was ideal in the evenings to get away from the main hustle and bustle. The property is lovely and clean, and is suited our needs. The landlord was lovely, and provided lovely welcoming tea and biscuit treats to the house. She gave us a lovely recommendation for where to go for dinner on our first evening, which was spot on. Our only regret is we were out and about so much we couldn't take full advantage of the sweet garden in the back.
