Well equipped cottage , very warm and cosy , bed was comfy but after long walks during the day we just wanted to sit and relax on sofa in the evening and we both found it incredibly hard and uncomfortable.

A wonderful cottage with everything needed to make it a home from home. owners very helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them. i would recommend this cottage to any one that requires to take their dogs with them, as the owners make the dogs as welcome as you are. a ten star holiday accommodation

Although the equipment was plentiful I am afraid the seating in the lounge area was hard and after a short time was uncomfortable also the lighting in the cottage was unhelpful to hobby pursuits

This cottage is a must it's very clean and comfortable with everything you need it's a home from home. Tom and Liz are very welcoming and will do everything to help make your stay a pleasure. We had a great time with our 6 small dogs lovely walks and beautiful views surrounding the cottage. We really can't wait to go back next year.

Lovely cosy cottage in rural position and yet close to shops, canels and plenty of walks. Plenty of good local pubs too. First holiday away with our staffy and it didn't take long for him to settle in. The cottage had everything you could think of needing for everyone.

Lovely barn conversion. Tom made us very welcome. Wonderful part of England with some fantastic walks. Shame about the constant coming and going of visitors to the stables behind. Couldn't really call it tranquil with cars in and out. The garden (patio) was rather confined but very secure for our dogs. Apart from that we would return in a heart beat.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry that the horse owners cars coming to attend to their horses upset you ,most guests have loved being able to visit the stables and see the horses up close and feed some of them,we were disappointed a bit with your review when you gave us 10/10 for cleanliness, location and local amenities and 9/10 for comfort and equipment then dropped us down to an overall rating of 5 but we are happy that you said you would return in a heartbeat, thank you for staying at our cottage.

We both enjoyed our holiday in the area. The cottage was more of a home than a holiday let. And the owners were really nice. I have been recommending this cottage to friends. There are plenty of attractions in the area, and the cottage is central to most of the peak district Also in the area is a restaurant on a canal boat.
