We would stay here again if it was updated. Very good location but the cottage needs some TLC and the hot tub needs repairing. Some jets and light not working. The fire in the cottage needs replacing and there needs to be a bigger fridge in the kitchen and a bigger TV.

The cottage was lovely however it needs updating. The heating isn't much good and the log fire whilst looking lovely does not throw out any heat. The kitchen equipment was just about adequate but certainly not what I expect for a four star property. It was great to have a very private enclosed garden and the hot tub was a bonus.

Lovely cottage, very peaceful, hot tub was so nice! More garden furniture would have been nice, to take advantage of the nice weather, slight downer was being woken up very early by barking dogs, but overall a lovely time was had.

We had a really nice break at the cottage late Aug/early September. Initially we booked for just the two of us with our two little dogs. We later decided to invite our son and his partner for the Bank Holiday weekend. Although the cottage has two bedrooms it really isn't set up for two couples as the only bathroom is off the main bedroom on the mezzanine floor. This is a shame as the cottage is beautiful, however it does have some short comings that could easily be rectified an additional toilet/shower room would require a bit more investment but would define be beneficial. The fridge with its small freezer box is far too small as the nearest food store is six miles away. There is no wifi in the cottage which in this day and age seems strange. Due to the cottages secluded location mobile signal can be a little patchy. Although the cottage accommodates four people there were only three garden chairs and no other garden furniture to enjoy the garden. We bought two sun loungers/ chairs that we left at the cottage for future users to make use of. The hot tub is a lovely facility and we enjoyed many nights in the hot tub looking at the stars after a day on the beach or site seeing. Again the hot tub only accommodates three people and the lights didn't work. The single seat also had one jet that wasn't working. With a few changes the cottage could be totally amazing. All in all we had a fantastic time and would definitely go back.

Due to the lovely rural location, understandably there was low water pressure, therefore shower wasn't very powerful. As a party of 4 adults (2 couples) the location of the bathroom could only be reached by entering the main bedroom, therefore making it very difficult for the other couple to use at times. Would have been nice to have some garden furniture to sit on in the lovely garden.
