We found the cottage to be much as expected. The cooking stuff is excellent, only lacking is a sieve. The shower in the main bedroom is very good with plenty of hot water however the other one is only really high enough to be used by a child. There is plenty to do in the area and plenty to see.

An excellent week spent in a quiet and comfortable location. Mrs Hackett incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Would book again, in a second.

We had a great time, a really comfortable stay and everything was really close to get to.

Comfortable cottage nicely furnished & decorated, with all mod cons. The owner, Pat, lives in her adjoining house, and is very helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. Suggested an excellent garage/tyre centre to get a puncture repaired! The cottage is well equipped, and the welcome pack was very usefull. Comfort for us is very specific, with arthritis & MS to cater for; we found the patio armchair to be ideal for our backs!!!

Surprisingly spacious barn / cottage, with all you could need. Loved the log burner. Just make sure you switch the fridge off overnight as it's very noisy, otherwise great find.

This was our third time at the cottage and it did not disappoint us. Pat the owner is very welcoming without being intrusive and the whole long weekend left us ready to book again next year.

The accommodation was excellent. Lovely home made carrot cake on our arrival. Because of the time of year we had the added bonus of the Christmas decorations being up. All in all a great stay. Would recommend thoroughly
