We have returned to Ship Shape on a number of occasions. It might be described as "quirky", but we love it and its location.

Ideally located close to the promenade and beach. Shipshape is a lovely well kept property with everything you need for a break away.

We all enjoyed the short stay at Ship Shape but we all found the stairs hard work and steep, even the dogs struggled.

Ship shape cottage was lovely, very clean, quirky, a little on the small side but ideal for a long weekend, unfortunately from 1st May dogs are not allowed on the beach which is one of the main reasons we booked, ideal location for the beach....so close yet unable to go on, but sadly the area generally is not great so we won't be returning & wouldn't recommend.

Lovely stay in a well appointed cottage. Good location to access the Northumberland coast and some hidden gems locally. We really enjoyed the buskers night at the local maritime center and the museum of Northumberland, both very local. The downstairs bedroom was a little bit noisy on Saturday night, but is a very minor criticism of what was a super Easter break. We would definitely stay again.
