Nestling in a picturesque rural location, Shepherds Rest provides superb holiday accommodation with a barn conversion which is attached to the owner’s home and enjoys beautiful landscaped gardens to the front and the privacy of a paved patio and garden to the rear. Stylishly furnished and decorated the cottage enjoys a light and airy reception room/ kitchen which is open to the eaves and complemented by a host of exposed beams and trusses. In addition to the "eco friendly" under floor heating from a ground source pump, the cottage also provides a wood burning stove,, making a central feature in the lounge area. There are two bedrooms, each unique with the Master bedroom found at first floor level and hosting a super king size bed along with patio doors leading out onto a delightful balcony which overlooks a large pond. The second bedroom is a king size zip and link bed at lower ground floor level with a feature window overlooking the gardens to the front.
Ground Floor: The property is heated by eco friendly ground source heat maintained at a constant 18 degrees celsius and comprises: Lounge/Kitchen/Diner: With wood burning stove, TV, DVD and radio/CD. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Bathroom: With corner bath, large walk in shower, WC, wash basin and shaver point Lower Ground Floor Bedroom 2: With Super king zip and link bed.
First Floor: Bedroom 1: With super king size bed and access to balcony with bistro table, chairs and stone steps leading to the garden. Shower Room: With walk in shower, WC, wash basin and exposed beams
Starter pack of logs for the woodburner provided, remainder of fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. Internet access is available, although this can be rather tempremental owing to the rural location of the property.Balcony with table and chairs. Paved patio and garden with outdoor furniture. Cycle store. Parking for 2 cars. Unfenced pond.
