Peacefully located within the owners’ stunning award-winning gardens, with 1 acre of formal gardens and a 5-acre field, these single-storey holiday properties are ideal for couples wishing to relax in scenic surroundings. Shelley’s Annexe (PQQM) is a cosy abode with traditional beams. Enjoying a sheltered rose garden, it is attached to the owners’ Grade II listed home, which has historic family links to the famous poet Shelley. Shelley’s Retreat (PQQL) offers a modern, light, stylish interior with features such as marble flooring and underfloor heating and has sole use of an outdoor unheated swimming pool. It is also attached to a larger medieval barn which is sometimes used for music events. The NGS gardens are open to the public during the May and August Bank Holiday weekends (guests are welcome to attend). The area is abundant in wildlife and public footpaths can be accessed 100 yards from the properties. Within easy driving distance are Guildford, Horsham, Gatwick, London, Brighton, the south coast, many NT homes and gardens, horse racing and the South of England Show. Polo at Midhurst, Arundel Castle and Petworth House are also within easy reach. Golf courses nearby. Shop 1 mile.
