A light and spacious barn conversion with fantastic rural views located in an AONB. Great for connecting with the Cotswolds Way which passes the village.

A wonderful barn conversion; open, light and spacious. Very well equipped kitchen etc. Excellent location for visiting Bath, Bristol and The Cotswolds.

Beautifully presented with lovely wooden floors, log burning fire and very spacious for 4 people. Two bathrooms added to the comfort plus a downstairs lol (although difficult just off the main lounge. Warm throughout with a convenient fitted kitchen and excellently equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our New Year week. Only downside is the lack of even a pub or small local shop in the village. However, the convenience of the M4 & the access to Bath, Bristol & the Cheltenham races made it perfect for us. Highly recommend.

I stayed at Shaplands Barn with my family over Christmas and can highly recommend it. The barn is warm, welcoming and spacious. We had everything we needed and the owner was very helpful and accommodating (especially regarding the huge amount of rubbish we produced after Christmas!). Although the barn only has two bedrooms, there was plenty of room for all of us (6 and a baby) and we didn't feel overcrowded when we had two extra visitors for lunch. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed some walks around Cold Ashton. It is a tranquil place to spend time whilst within easy reach of Bath. I would definitely visit Shaplands Barn again.

We had a lovely week, the barn was gorgeous and very comfortable. The welcome wine and biscuits were a very nice touch.

Loved the accomodation, was well equipped with all basics and had bottle of wine as welcome which was a nice touch. Also had basic cooking condiments like salt and pepper and tea bags and coffee etc which was really handy. My only slight suggestion for improvement was the bed in the ensuit room, the mattress was really soft and so didnt find it very comfortable but appreciate this is personal taste. The owner was also very lovely and was always on hand when we needed her.
