In superb locations and beautiful settings. Cottages4you gives you a fantastic range of hand-picked properties with quality you can rely on.

The 50-acres of grounds with spectacular views over Bridlington Bay include the award-winning landscaped gardens and numerous woodland walks.

Formerly gatehouses and lodge to the Grade 1 listed Georgian House of Sewerby Hall, these award-winning period properties have been carefully restored to a very good standard, resulting in three unique detached holiday cottages (refs 27522, 27523 and 27524). Visitors can enjoy access to Sewerby Hall Estate and Gardens (seasonal opening times apply). The hall, restored in 2014 as a country house circa 1910, displays impressive historic interiors, nationally important furniture which is on loan from the Victoria and Albert Museum London, and a collection of memorabilia that was once owned by the famous local aviator, Amy Johnson. The 50-acres of grounds offer spectacular views over Bridlington Bay and include award-winning landscaped gardens and numerous woodland walks, with a huge variety of wildlife. Children will love the fascinating collection of animals in the zoo, including penguins and ring-tailed lemurs. The estate contains a 9-hole pitch ’n’ putt golf course, 18-hole putting green and a children’s adventure playground. The Clock Tower Cafe and Stables gift shop both offer 10% discount on selected items for visitors staying in the cottages. A short walk leads to the beach, or alternatively visitors can board the Land Train for a cliff top journey to Bridlington. The traditional resort of Bridlington appeals to all ages with its bustling harbour, historic Old Town, The Spa Bridlington and miles of sandy beaches. Local places of interest include Flamborough Head with its famous lighthouse, RSPB Bempton Nature Reserve with unrivalled views of puffins, guillemots and kittiwakes, whilst inland lie the scenic Yorkshire Wolds, inspiration for the famous paintings by David Hockney. Shop 1/4 mile, pub 200 yards and restaurant 400 yards.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Laminate floors throughout. 3 bedrooms: 2 double (5ft), one with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Lovely cottage and much bigger inside than the photos show. We enjoyed the zoo, tea rooms & land train....all on the doorstep! Bridlington Old Town was a delight.

Another brilliant week spent at Chestnut Cottage, it's a very spacious and comfortable cottage enjoyed by the whole family. There's lots to do in the local area and we were able to keep 2 teens amused for the whole week. Already looking to book again!

Had a lovely stay here. Four generations found plenty to satisfy all. Cottage was lovely. Complimentary vouchers again a lovely gesture. Nice pub down the road serving great food. Everyone friendly, helpful and polite. Zoo fab. Hall kept very well and grounds too. Loved the land train. Close to the see and parking great.

A lovely week with good weather. Have been before and hopefully will be going again! Sewerby Park, zoo and land train all good fun. Cottage well equipped, car parking and heating excellent. Only real negative point is that the water temperature in the ensuite shower is not great however do wonder if they have tried to resolve this since last visiting as now have 'caution, hot water' stickers in the other bathroom.

This was a wonderful place for a family holiday with something for everyone. It was lovely to wake every morning in such a stunning location. The only drawback is the gravel path to the cottage which is difficult for a wheelchair user or someone with limited mobility. It was possible to use the "front" door but parking the car there caused an obstruction.
