Great cottage has everything you need and more nice touch with tea and cake waiting on arrival. Watchet is a quaint little harbour village, lots of dog friendly pubs and cafes, great dog walks along the cliffs.I would not hesitate in recommending this cottage and the village of watchet.

Having a hairy dog, the stone floors on the ground floor were very welcome. Limited information about refuse and recycling arrangements and bags for food recycling and refuse were not provided Lounge furniture was past its sell by date! Lack of Wifi is unusual these days in cottages Outdoor areas were rather unkempt and not very clear and garden not very attractive Instructions to fine the property were not very clear

We had a lovely stay at Sargeants Cottage and would definitely stay again. Watchet is a great place to visit and was made very welcome within the local pubs and cafes 😊

Cottage was good value for money, garden was ideal for the dogs and kitchen was well equipped. Location was ideal for exploring the coast and exmoor. Things that could be improved are the general cleanliness of the property, addition of wifi, new sofas and mattress (the existing ones are very uncomfortable) and an updated welcome pack.

Lovely cottage. Would definitely stay here again. Fully equipped, clean and tidy. The front door lock has been installed upside down and is easily rectified. The two sofas are a bit uncomfortable. Overall very happy with the cottage and the location.

Had a great time in the cottage. Great spot for touring and a comfy place to get back to and the end of the day. Would be great if it had wifi and a freezer. The single bed mattress was very lumpy and the front door desperately needs adjusting. Loved the view from the bedroom window and of the marina and the steam train. Would definitely revisit as it was great to have an enclosed garden for the doggies.

Nice cottage in a nice location just a short walk from the pretty harbour. what lets this cottage down is the outside. the garden isn't very big it could be spruced up in a weekend, it is a mixture of paving slabs and pebbles but full of weeds. one picnic style wooden bench/table and one very large rusty barbeque that could do with taking to the local tip. we were lucky to have nice weather for our week but did not sit in the garden as it really isn't pleasant. That said, we had a nice week at the cottage.
